After completing this WebQuest, you will be able to recognize the importance of Black History Month and identify important people and events from the African American community through history.  

    The task:

You are part of the U.S. Treasury Committee and you are in charge of designing and creating a new dollar bill that will feature an important African American.  You will decide on the design and its value.  You must bring your own materials to create the dollar bill, and I will laminate it once you are done.

     In order for you to persuade the entire committee (your class), you have to make a PowerPoint presentation and perform it!

Your presentation should be creative, exciting, and full of great information!

 

Once the candidates are presented, your class will vote for the person they believe should be on the new dollar bill.
