The Task

Your first task is to choose if you would like to spread awareness through a brochure, a PowerPoint, or if you want to write a letter to a government representative.

You only have to accomplish one of them.

*Refer to the bottom of the page for a short glossary.*

*Templates are offered on the next page.*

Brochure

option1.png

Imagine you are a member of an ecological organization.

Create a brochure to raise awareness about one of the problems that are affecting our planet. The brochure should contain pictures,  information on the topics, causes, effects, and what type of actions can we take.

Invite people to take action and help our planet Earth!

PowerPoint Presentation

option2.png

Imagine you are presenting an environmental issue to your community.   Your job is to choose TWO issues and do research across the Internet to expand your knowledge on your chosen topics. Then, create a PowerPoint presentation with plenty of pictures,  causes, effects, and solutions to these problems.

Create awareness in your community!

Letter

option 3.png

Imagine you are going to take action by participating in a letter-writing campaign to promote solutions for an environmental issue.  Research your chosen environmental issue, determine the causes, effects, and propose solutions for your issue.  Then, write a letter to the mayor or another government representative in order to discuss your issue and promote your solutions!

Your letter can make a difference!

** Once you decide what you would like to do, make sure to fill out the "Initial Survey form" that your teacher will provide you.
